AI and MCP

Optional: let an AI client check FrameKit's role guesses through its MCP server. You still sign off.

Works without AI

Roles, patterns, tokens and the Studio all run on their own, and nothing is metered. AI is a second pair of eyes on the guesses: nothing it suggests is accepted until you accept it.

The MCP server

FrameKit runs an MCP server. Claude Code, Cursor or any MCP client can read the layer tree, compare it with a screenshot of the frame, fix the unsure roles and import a draft.

→ figmakit_layer_tree read a frame's layers and their guessed roles→ figmakit_set_roles correct roles before importing

Your own Claude API key

Instead of an MCP client, you can add your own Claude API key and use the "Let AI set the roles" button.
